How to Set Up Clever SSO Integration

Learn how to enable Single Sign-On (SSO) with Clever so students and educators can log into Edge Factor directly from their Clever Portal.

What is Clever SSO?

Clever SSO allows users to:

  • Log into Clever

  • Click the Edge Factor icon

  • Be automatically logged into Edge Factor

⚠️ Clever SSO does not sync classes or rosters. It only handles login.

Setup Steps

Step 1: Log Into Clever

  1. Go to clever.com

  2. Log in as District Admin

Step 2: Add Edge Factor (SSO App)

  1. Navigate to Applications

  2. Search for Edge Factor

  3. Select the app labeled:
    Edge Factor

    edge factor clever sso

  4. Click Add Application

  5. Assign it to students and educators

Step 3: Test Login

  1. Have a student log into their Clever Portal

  2. Click the Edge Factor icon

  3. Confirm they are logged in automatically

SSO setup is complete.
