Why Individual School Profiles Matter

1. Local Relevance for Students & Parents
   Edge Factor helps students explore training programs, companies, and careers near them. Because school districts often span large geographic areas, creating unique profiles allows us to recommend location-specific opportunities to students and parents based on proximity.

2. Highlight Each School’s Unique Offerings
   Even within the same district, schools often offer different programs, specializations, or community partnerships. A dedicated school profile gives each school the chance to showcase what sets them apart and communicate their unique value.

3. Membership Structure & Licensing
   Edge Factor memberships are issued at the individual school level. Each membership is a brick-and-mortar license, so every school with an active membership will require its own profile.

What About School Districts?

When multiple schools in a district have memberships:

• A District Network will be created to group all member schools under one umbrella.

• This allows district-level admins to monitor usage, oversee implementation, and guide strategy, while still keeping each school’s identity and content access separate.

Student Account Accuracy

Creating individual school profiles also ensures students are:

• Assigned to the correct school

• Matched with the correct content, classrooms, and instructors

• Properly tracked in analytics and reporting
