Where Do Students Find Their Assignments?
Once a teacher assigns content to a student through Edge Factor, students can view and complete those assignments directly from their dashboard.
Here’s how students can find and access their assigned work:
Step 1: Go to the “My Journey” Tab
After logging into Edge Factor, students should:
-
Click the “My Journey” tab from the left-hand menu if it is not already showing as their default landing page.
-
Under “Your Classes”, they’ll see all the classes they are enrolled in.
If a student does not see any classes here, it may mean they haven’t been added to a class yet. They should check with their teacher to confirm.
Step 2: Enter the Relevant Class
Students may be enrolled in multiple classes, especially if they are taking multiple subjects or working with multiple teachers. From the class list:
-
Click the name of the class they wish to explore.
Step 3: View Assignments
Inside each class, students will see:
-
Assignments assigned by their teacher
-
Badges, Levels Journey Stops, or other content for them the complete
Step 4: Complete the Assignment
Within the assignment:
-
All included content (videos, activities, quizzes, etc.) will be listed.
-
Students can work through each item one at a time.
Edge Factor automatically tracks progress, so teachers can see what has been started, viewed, or completed, as well as grades if an assessment is attached to the content.
