Some suggestions on how to use Edge Factor with your Google Classroom.
1. Share instructions on how to access Edge Factor content
We recommend you create an announcement with instructions on how your students can access Edge Factor.
A. Create an announcement
Go to the "Stream" tab in Google Classroom. Then click on the "announce something to your class" field.
B. Add login information
Tell your students how they can log into Edge Factor.

2. Share a video with students
If there is a video that you want your students to watch you can post it as "Material" for your students. To do this.
A. Create new material
Go to the "Classwork" tab in Google Classroom. Then click the "Create" button and select "Material".
B. Add instructions
Tell your students what you want to do.
C. Add the video link
Click the "Add" button and select the "Link" option. Then paste in the page URL of the video that you want to share with your students. Finally, click the "Add link" button.
D. Post the "Material"
Click the "Post" button and you are done!
NOTE: Your students will be prompted to sign in when they click on the link. They can sign in using their school Google account. If your student runs into a "locked content" message here are some troubleshooting tips.
3. Share assigned content with students
You can let your students know on Google Classroom that you've assigned classwork for them to complete on Edge Factor.
A. Copy your Edge Factor class link
Begin by logging into Edge Factor. Then click on "Classroom" in the sidebar and open the class that you assigned content to. Then copy the page URL.
B. Create new material
Go to Google Classroom and select the "Classwork" tab. Then click on the "Create" button and choose "Material".
C. Create a new announcement in Classroom
Give students instructions on how to complete the content that you've assigned to them.
C. Add your class link
Click the "Add" button and select the "Link" option. Then paste in the Class page URL that you pulled up in Step 3A. Finally, click the "Add link" button.
D. Post this "Material"
Click the "Post" button and you are finished! When your students click on the link in your post they will be brought to your Edge Factor Classroom page and they will be able to see the content you've assigned to them. Note, for this link to work your students will need to be enrolled in this class (learn more).
