These resources are designed to build practical skills, foster critical thinking, and support personal growth through real-world examples.

What's in the Preparation Section?

Here are some of the series you'll find:

• Financial Literacy (budgeting, saving, understanding money)

• STEAM on the Job (how Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math come to life in careers)

• Pet Factor – Learn valuable transferable life skills from our four-legged friends

• Ethics and Employability – Focuses on soft skills needed to succeed in school, work, and life

Preparation Content by Grade Level

To make it easy for educators to find age-appropriate content, the Preparation section is divided into two main groups:

1. K–8+ Preparation

   • Content tailored for younger learners

   • Simplified language and foundational skill-building

2. 9–12+ Preparation

   • Deeper content focused on workforce readiness

   • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and career-focused learning

How to Access Preparation Content

1. Log in to your Edge Factor account

2. Navigate to the Library from the left-hand menu

3. Scroll to the “Preparation” area of the page

4. Choose between K–8+ or 9–12+ to begin exploring
5. To find content with activities or educator guides look for the following on the series thumbnail:
   • Student Activities
   • Activities
   • Edu Guides
