How to Browse Our Inspiration Content

The Inspiration phase of Edge Factor is designed to help students get excited about their future.

Through powerful storytelling, students discover real people, real challenges, and real careers—helping them imagine what’s possible and see the impact they can make in the world.

Edge Factor creates award-winning films, short stories, and documentaries that highlight people and teams working together to solve problems, innovate, and drive change in their communities and industries.

What’s in the Inspiration Section?

Here are some of the series you'll find:

  • Edge Factor Show with award-winning feature films and documentaries

  • Skilled Responders where students will be inspired by the passion and precision of skilled professionals

  • Careers of the Future where we explore how AI, robotics and Industry 4.0 are transforming every industry

  • Elements tells real stories about people solving today's toughest sustainability challenges

  • Why Care? gives you insights from leaders and professionals about why you should care about the trades and manufacturing

These resources are perfect for sparking curiosity, launching career discussions, or motivating students to think bigger about their goals.

Inspiration Content by Grade Level

To make it easy for educators to find age-appropriate content, the Inspiration section is divided into two main groups:

  1. K–8+ Inspiration

    • Shorter, high-energy stories

    • Age-appropriate language and relatable themes

  2. 9–12+ Inspiration

    • Deeper, more mature storytelling

    • Reflective themes and industry-focused narratives

How to Access Inspiration Content

  1. Log in to your Edge Factor account

  2. Navigate to the Library from the left-hand menu

  3. Scroll to the “Inspiration” area of the page

  4. Choose between K–8+ or 9–12+ to begin exploring

  5. To find content with activities or educator guides look for the following on the series thumbnail:

    • Student Activities

    • Activities

    • Edu Guides
