How to Browse Our Exploration Content

This section is designed to give students a firsthand look at what it’s like to work in diverse industries.

What’s in the Exploration Section?

Here are some of the series you'll find:

• Industry Pathways (Jr.) - Overviews of industries and jobs included

• Career Profiles – “Day in the life” stories from real professionals

• Virtual Workplace Experience – Inside companies, schools, and training facilities

• What's in your Toolbelt – Tools, equipment, and processes used in the field

These videos and activities are meant to inspire students, highlight real career paths, and connect education to future job opportunities.

Exploration Content by Grade Level

To make it easy for educators to find age-appropriate content, the Exploration section is divided into two main groups:

1. K–8+ Exploration

   • Shorter videos with simplified language

   • Ideal for introducing younger students to career ideas in an engaging way

2. 9–12+ Exploration

   • Career profiles with more industry and role-specific detail

   • Great for students making decisions about course selection, postsecondary pathways, or work-based learning

How to Access the Exploration Content

1. Log in to your Edge Factor account

2. Navigate to the Library in the left-hand menu

3. Scroll to the “Exploration” area of the page

4. Choose between K–8+ or 9–12+ to begin exploring

5. To find content with activities or educator guides look for the following on the series thumbnail:

   • Student Activities

   • Activities

   • Edu Guides
