Microsoft SSO Integration

Microsoft requires a one-time administrative approval requirement for Microsoft SSO sign-ins to Edge Factor.

There have been some updates needed from Microsoft and this might affect your Microsoft SSO login with Edge Factor. Microsoft requires a one-time approval from a school IT administrator before users can sign in with their Microsoft accounts.

What This Means

  • Nothing is wrong with your account or our system

  • No data has been accessed or shared

  • Microsoft is simply asking for confirmation that your organization allows EdgeFactor to be used with Microsoft sign-in

What Needs to be Done

A Microsoft 365 / Azure AD administrator at your school or board will need to:

  • Approve the “EdgeFactor SSO” application when prompted
    or

  • Pre-approve it for users in your organization

Once this approval is completed, staff and students will be able to sign in normally without seeing this message again.
