How to Use the Search Bar

Learn how to effectively use the Search Bar on Edge Factor.

This tool allows you to quickly find videos, lesson plans, badges, and more using keywords and smart filtering.

Where to Find It

  • The Search Bar is located in the top-left corner of your screen after logging into Edge Factor.

How to Search for Content

  1. Type in a Keyword or Job Title
    Enter terms like “welder,” “cnc” or “animal” to discover related videos and badges.

  2. Browse Search Results
    Your results will populate automatically. Scroll through the content tiles and click on items of interest.

  3. Click “Load More Content”
    If there’s more content available, a “Load More Content” button will appear—click it to see additional results.

  4. Review Matching Organizations
    At the bottom of your results, you'll also see any organizations (such as schools or companies) that match your keyword.

  • Videos (episodes, series, walk-and-talks)

  • Badges

  • Industry Overviews

Tip: Can’t find what you're looking for? Try different keywords or use the Library filters for a more targeted search.
