How to Download Lesson Plans/Educator Guides

Download ready-made lesson plans from Edge Factor to support your classroom instruction. These guides are designed to help educators deliver engaging lessons tied to real-world careers, skills, and industries.

What Are Lesson Plans?

Edge Factor’s Educator Guides (also called “Edu Guides”) include:

  • Recommended grade level

  • Estimated time required

  • Resources & supplies needed

  • Modifications and accommodations

  • Student activities (where available)

  • Objectives & learning goals

  • And much more!

These resources are tailored for topics like career pathways, soft skills, STEM/STEAM, ethics, and industry-specific roles.

How to Find Lesson Plans

  1. Look for "Edu Guides" on Series Thumbnails
    In the Library, browse through content thumbnails. If a series includes downloadable lesson plans, it will be marked with "Edu Guides" in the corner of the thumbnail.

  2. Open the Series and Select an Episode
    Click into the series, and choose the episode you want a guide for.

  3. Scroll Below the Video
    Once the episode page opens, scroll down below the video player.

  4. Download the Lesson Plan
    Under the "Educator Guide" heading, click the Download icon to save the PDF to your device.

Who Can Download Lesson Plans?

Only Instructors and Administrators can download lesson plans. Learners (students) do not have access to these files.
