If you're trying to create a new user account and aren't receiving the email verification code this could be why.
If you are creating a new user account it is likely that you will be asked to verify your email address. This is done to ensure that your email address exists and that it can receive emails. We need your email address to send you important service notifications such as "password recovery emails", "new assignment emails", etc. It also helps us to avoid bounces and protect our sender reputation.
If you didn't get an email verification code it could be that:
1. You misspelled your email address
It's OK, it happens to all of us. Double-check that you are using the correct email address and try again.
2. The verification email is in your spam folder
It's possible that the email is sitting in your spam folder. If this is the case, please mark this email as "not spam". Then enter the verification code and finish the registration process.
3. Your email is blocking external senders
If you still aren't receiving the email with the verification code, and you are a student, it's possible that your school blocks incoming emails from people outside of your district. If this is the case your teacher should ask the IT department to whitelist emails from @edgefactor.com (we will never send marketing emails to students). Alternatively, your teacher could login to their account and create a user account for you.
