I'm Not Getting an Email Verification...
If you're trying to create a new Edge Factor account but haven't received the email verification, don’t worry, here are a few common reasons this may happen and how to fix it.
Why You Need to Verify Your Email
We ask for email verification to:
-
Ensure your email address is valid
-
Allow us to send important notifications like password resets, assignment updates, and account alerts
-
Protect users by avoiding email bounces and spam issues
Troubleshooting Steps
-
Check for Typos
- It’s easy to accidentally mistype your email address. Double-check the email you entered and try again.
-
Check Your Spam/Junk Folder
- Sometimes our emails get filtered into your spam or junk folder. Look for a message from Edge Factor and, if found, mark it as “Not Spam”. Then enter the code to complete your account setup.
-
Your Email May Be Blocking External Senders
-
If you're a student using a school-issued email, your district may be blocking external messages
-
Ask your teacher or IT team to whitelist emails from
@edgefactor.com
.(Edge Factor does not send marketing emails to students.) -
Alternatively, your teacher can create an account for you directly through their educator login.
